Position Summary
As a Pastry Cook, you will play a key role in executing a sophisticated dessert program that reflects the restaurant’s Michelin-level standards. Key Responsibilities
- Execute all pastry and dessert items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in the daily production of components including doughs, creams, sauces, and plated desserts
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient pastry station at all times
- Support the Pastry Chef in menu development, seasonal updates, and special event production
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of all pastry ingredients (FIFO)
- Uphold all food safety, sanitation, and health standards
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless service execution
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in a pastry role within a high-volume or fine dining environment preferred
- Formal culinary or pastry training is a plus
- Strong foundational knowledge of pastry techniques and ingredients
- Ability to work cleanly, efficiently, and with precision under pressure
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- A passion for hospitality, craftsmanship, and continuous learning
