About the role
Rye Street Tavern is a unique dining destination in the Baltimore Peninsula, part of the Clyde’s Restaurant Group, which owns 15 concepts in the DMV area. We are accessible by car and public transportation.
Responsibilities
- Wash, peel, slice, dice, chop, and otherwise prepare raw vegetables and fruits
- Use a commercial food processor to puree both raw and prepared foods
- Operate both convection and conventional ovens and gas ranges
- Lift, handle, weigh, and portion pastry items accurately
- Use a commercial mixer to prepare batters and dough
- Label, date, and store prepped product
- Clean, wipe, and scour prep equipment and machinery, and sweep and mop prep area floors
- Make a daily inventory of product and write a prep list if needed
Requirements
- Hardworking, attentive, and hospitality-driven with a desire to excel and maintain the highest level of service
- Experience as a pastry cook, preferably in a high-volume restaurant
- Available to work a variable schedule including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays

Pay
Pay Range: $17.00 - $22.00/ hour
