Pastry Cook

About the role

Auberge Collection is seeking a skilled Pastry Cook to join its dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about pastry arts and detail-oriented, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Convert recipes and standard measurements into daily production requirements.
• Assist the Pastry Chef with daily preparation and production while maintaining a positive, self-motivated attitude.
• Review function sheets, restaurant requisitions, and special requests to plan and prioritize daily tasks.
• Prepare and present pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Practice proper stock rotation, storage, and handling procedures to minimize waste and product spoilage.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times, adhering to all health, safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels and submit requisitions for supplies as needed.
• Complete engineering or maintenance work orders when necessary to support the upkeep of kitchen equipment and facilities.
• Collaborate effectively with kitchen team members to ensure smooth daily operations and timely service.

• Availability to work early morning shifts, starting at 4:00 AM.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
