About the role
This 9-month commitment, August through May, will provide you with perspective on vocational ministry, specifically within your area of ministry emphasis, depending on your giftings, interests, and WestGate’s needs: Worship, Kids, Students, College-Age, Creative Engagement and Communication.
Responsibilities
- Attend all scheduled residency meetings, events, and program times.
- Provide flexible support for your ministry area as assigned, contributing to a wide range of tasks and responsibilities.
- Engage actively with residency material through reading and spiritual practices as assigned.
- Participate in and serve at all-church events, such as but not limited to Christmas and Easter services, All-Church Prayer Nights, and Conferences.

- Proficient with basic computer applications, including Google Workspace and Planning Center, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Prior ministry experience preferred, whether volunteer or vocational.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Superior communication skills, written and verbal.

- Operate in a professional office or church environment with standard equipment like computers, printers, filing cabinets, and telephones.
- Lead in settings with various equipment, cables, stage lights, loud sounds, and visual stimuli.
- Work typically occurs Sunday-Thursday, with occasional Fridays, Saturdays, or evenings as needed.
Pay
$19.23 per hour
