Pashto Interpreter - Wichita, KS

About the Role

Language Services Associates is seeking Pashto interpreters in the Wichita, KS area to join our network of Independently Contracted Interpreters. You will facilitate language communication for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community across a variety of settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service
• Adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict confidentiality standards
• Follow all policies, procedures, professional interpretation protocols, and industry-specific best practices
• Comply with clearance requirements as requested by clients
• Report on-site to accepted assignments in a timely manner
• Ensure access to personal or public transportation

Requirements

• Full fluency in both English and Pashto
• Ability to deliver a high level of client service
• 1+ year of professional interpreting experience preferred
• Industry-specific certifications/trainings (e.g., CMI, CCHI) preferred
