About the role

As a Language Services Associate, you will be responsible for providing translation and interpretation services to clients across various industries. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver accurate, culturally sensitive translations and interpretations.

Responsibilities

• Translate written documents from English to target languages and vice versa
• Provide oral interpretation services in meetings and conferences
• Ensure accuracy and cultural sensitivity in all translations and interpretations
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless communication between clients and language service providers
• Adhere to confidentiality policies and maintain client trust

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in linguistics, translation, interpreting, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of professional translation and/or interpreting experience
• Strong command of both English and target languages
• Cultural fluency and understanding of diverse client bases
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with translation software tools
• Knowledge of international translation standards and guidelines
