About the role
Baptist Southbank is hiring a PRN Days Patient Access Representative II to join our Pediatric Outpatient Rehab Services Department in Jacksonville, FL. This PRN role provides supplemental coverage for team members utilizing time off and leave, with day shifts scheduled Monday through Friday (no weekends).
Responsibilities
- Register patients accurately and efficiently
- Utilize multiple systems and interfaces
- Cross-train to work in multiple patient access areas
- Maintain service excellence for face-to-face and telephonic patient encounters
- Contribute to Patient Access Services (PAS) goals as defined annually
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of State and Federal regulations including EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO
- Maintain professional relationships with clinical and non-clinical team members
- Articulate compliance documentation and ensure completion of required patient consent forms
- Maintain patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
Requirements
