About the Role

Responsibilities

• Registers patients accurately and efficiently.
• Utilizes multiple systems and interfaces.
• Cross-trained to work in multiple patient access areas.
• Maintains service excellence for patients and visitors during face-to-face and telephonic encounters.
• Contributes to Patient Access Services (PAS) goals as defined annually (e.g., collections, palm scanning).
• Possesses a strong understanding of State and Federal regulations, including EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO.
• Maintains professional relationships with all clinical and non-clinical team members.
• Articulates compliance documentation and ensures completion of required patient consent forms.
• Maintains patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
