PAS Financial Counselor

About the role

Assist with Medicaid and charity care application procedures, educating patients about their financial liabilities, and developing patient payment arrangements for said liabilities. This is a facility-based position.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
• Associate's Degree or Bachelor's from a recognized college or university Preferred

Qualifications

• 3 years of previous related healthcare Revenue Cycle experience, preferably with a focus in Financial Counseling Required
• 4 years of previous related healthcare Revenue Cycle experience, preferably with a focus in Financial Counseling Preferred
• Call center experience Preferred
• Previous Epic experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• None Required
• Certification with Healthcare Financial Management Association Preferred
• Certified Revenue Cycle Representative Preferred
