About the role
This position is responsible for responding to customers' needs in a positive, caring, and timely manner while demonstrating a sense of urgency. Must also provide prompt, accurate, and efficient processing of all parts transactions and related warehouse activities. This requires working independently, with specific direction or as a member of a team.
Responsibilities
- Models, promotes, and reinforces the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission
- Works safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
- Adheres to contamination control and HAZMAT rules and regulations
- Maintains all company equipment, warehouse environment, tools, and work areas in a good, clean, and working order
- Completes all parts order pulling transactions for external and internal customers in an accurate, timely and supportive manner to ensure customer satisfaction
- Completes all stock replenishment tasks in an accurate, timely and supportive manner to ensure proper inventory status in parts warehouse. To be monitored by management observation and stock order analysis reports, as well as daily and year end physical inventories
- Develops sales and inventory skills by completing internal training programs as determined by performance review goal setting guide for self-improvement and achievement of other KRA's
- Communicates job status to supervisor as needed
- Learns how to place 3rd party orders through the CODA system and how to receive orders through the CODA system
- Performs housekeeping duties while adhering to contamination control guidelines
- Works overtime as required by workload
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Up to two years of experience
- Must complete HOLT VBL and DiSC training
Qualifications
- Ability to meet all requirements as outlined in the Parts Warehouse Position Designation Guidelines to include order pulling, job related software, forklift operation, hydraulic hose building, ladder JSA, battery JSA, prime mover JSA, will counter operations, and all applicable policies and procedures
- General knowledge of equipment and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance
- Knowledge and proficiency with current computer software and related hardware
- Operation and control skills of equipment or systems
- Equipment selection skills by determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job
- Ability to follow logical troubleshooting procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and equipment used in mechanical repair including an overhead crane
- Ability to operate a conventional forklift
- Ability to operate the controls of a machine or a vehicle quickly and repeatedly to exact positions
- Ability to be self-starting and self-motivated
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and understand information
- Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
