Parts Clerk -- Warehouse

Responsibilities

• Receive and store Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), kits, and other inventory property
• Accurately enter all property into the database
• Perform material transfers and releases as needed per all company processes
• Conduct inventory cycle counts, verifying item storage, location, quantity, etc.
• Transfer, store, stack, or palletize materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods
• Issue materials from reservations or other relevant documentation
• Examine stored materials and report deterioration and damage
• Issue, inventory, account for and dispose of expired Hazmat material per company procedure
• Operate pallet jacks and/or forklift
• Maintain Costpoint retrieval records to ensure seamless retrieval in designated warehouse
• Maintain inventory control over all part inventory, verification and accuracy of parts on hand, locations, abbreviations, shelf life, and lot identification information
• Perform other various duties as needed, assigned, and/or required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization

Requirements

• May be required to work some weekends or overtime as needed

Qualifications

• Beginner to intermediate computer skills—Costpoint experience highly preferred; ability to learn additional computer skills or software programs; ability to accurately enter data
• High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently and multi-task
• Interpersonal skills are necessary to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff
• Ability to use general office equipment such as copier, scanner, printers, etc.
• Strong decision analysis and problem-solving skills; ability to draw conclusions and justify decisions. Must be able to communicate issues to management
• Ability to perform basic mathematical computations
• Analytical skills with the ability to evaluate data and consider decision impact across multiple areas
• Previous experience conducting physical inventory counts preferred
• Ability to handle Hazmat products as it relates to aviation maintenance
