Parts Warehouse Associate

About the role

Employee to perform all functions necessary to keep the Parts Warehouse in a clean, organized manner - including but not limited to accurately physically receiving of materials/products in order to maintain integrity of inventory control, and ensures delivery of materials/products to the proper departments and/or customers.

Responsibilities

• Helps pick, pack and tag all customer deliveries, ensuring customer invoice/order number is on all parts shipments/deliveries/paperwork.
• Accurately receives all incoming orders and puts inventory in the appropriate bin locations.
• Checks and records quantity and quality of goods received.
• Inspects, accepts or rejects inbound shipments.
• Communicates and coordinates with appropriate teammates for product returns/repairs.
• Properly inputs received material into computer system and forwards proper documentation to Warehouse Manager.
• Delivers product to appropriate personnel - keep all pathways clear.
• Assists in other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, supervisors and managers.
• Maintain a safe work environment according to all department procedures, federal and state regulations.
• Wear personal protective gear as necessary for the job.

Working knowledge

• Working knowledge of computerized inventory control system.

Skills

• Ability to accurately complete arithmetic computations to sufficiently perform duties of the job.
