Responsibilities
- Aid the Parts Manager in managing the parts department.
- Interpret catalogs or computer displays to find replacement part numbers and prices.
- Determine necessary replacement parts based on inspections, customer requests, or descriptions of malfunctions.
- Tackle escalated customer service issues and ensure their resolution.
- Boost revenue by contacting customers and recommending additional or related components.
- Create and process sales orders for the shop, walk-in traffic, emails, or phone calls.
- Handle payments or secure credit authorizations.
- Manage inventory control and conduct cycle counts under the supervision of the Parts Manager.
- Inform customers about parts modifications, supersessions, and the benefits of Genuine replacement parts.
- Evaluate returned parts and cores for defects, replace faulty items, and process credits or refunds.
- Organize and store parts in stockrooms according to established systems.
- Provide customers with information on the use and features of various parts.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Set customer price levels and manage pricing discounts to enhance revenue and meet gross profit margin goals.
- Identify and implement employee development and training opportunities.
- Generate sales quotes for multi-part orders.
Qualifications
- Accurately and thoroughly perform tasks.
- Communicate clearly and effectively both in writing and verbally.
- Take care of customers' needs while adhering to company procedures.
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
Education/Expectations
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Two to five years of related experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with Oracle is highly valued.

Pay
Salary range is $75,000.00 to $84,000.00 annually.
