PARTS SHIPPING/RECEIVING - AUTOMOTIVE CARDINALEWAY VOLKSWAGEN - CORONA

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts against invoices and purchase orders
• Process outgoing shipments, including packaging and labeling parts
• Stock parts into correct warehouse or dealership bin locations
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts
• Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect shipments
• Cook with returns, warranty parts, and core processing
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment (if certified)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• 6+ months of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or automotive parts experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Basic computer skills (inventory systems, data entry)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in an automotive dealership or parts warehouse
• Familiarity with shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx, freight)
• Forklift certification (a plus, not always required)
