Parts Shipping & Receiving

Responsibilities

• Receive & send shipments, verify information against invoices, orders and other records
• Maintain receiving and shipping records, as well as returned parts records
• Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages
• Ensure that outgoing shipments meet specifications
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to use parts department computer system
• Good communication skills
• Ability to operate a fork lift truck (plus)
• Clean criminal background and pass pre-employment drug screen
• Strong organizational skills and ability to be extremely detail oriented
• Self-motivated and able to accomplish tasks with little supervision
• Basic computer knowledge
• Comfortable sitting, standing and/or walking for long periods of time
