Parts Shipping & Receiving

About the Role

Sioux Falls Ford Lincoln is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our team. We are looking for a person who can perform efficiently in a warehouse environment by handling incoming and outgoing deliveries. This individual is responsible for organizing new shipments and making sure parts and various items get to the right department and employees.

Responsibilities

• Receive all deliveries, verifying bills of lading against pieces received
• Distribute and locate parts into bins for collection
• Distribute special parts orders to the departments that have ordered them
• Receipt and shelve all stock orders or returns inventory system
• Scrap all authorized replaced warranty parts on a monthly basis
• Clean and restock shipping and receiving area
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company's Vision, Mission and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliers

Requirements

• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal and phone etiquette skills
• Basic math skills
• Ability to read and comprehend instruction / information
• A positive attitude, exceptional work ethic and willingness to learn
• Computer literacy with proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft applications
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to successfully pass a background check

Qualifications

• Forklift experience a plus but not required
