About the role

Mossy Automotive is seeking an experienced Parts Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support the Service & Body Shop department and enhance customer experiences. Ideal candidates thrive in fast-paced, professional environments.

Responsibilities

• Accurately read catalogs, microfiche viewer, or computer for parts stock number and price
• Count, weigh or measure items on incoming and outgoing shipments, verify information against invoices, orders and other records
• Determine method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates
• Keep all bins, aisles and storage areas clean and clearly labeled
• Maintain receiving and shipping records, delivery truck maintenance records and returned parts records
• Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages
• Ensure that outgoing shipments meet specifications
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
• Mark & stock parts according to pre-arranged system

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Valid driver's license & clean driving record
• Ability to use parts department computer system
• Good communication skills
• Good comprehension of parts manuals
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Experience in Retail or Wholesale Parts Department
• Ability to climb flights of stairs
