Parts Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Prepare and package outgoing parts shipments for delivery or manufacturer returns, ensuring proper documentation.
• MATCH packing slips with purchase orders and report any discrepancies or damages to the Parts Manager.
• Aid in maintaining inventory accuracy by performing regular bin checks and stock counts.
• Maintain an accurate log sheet for daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting.
• Prepare items to be shipped in appropriate shipping material.
• tag, label, and shelve parts in designated inventory areas.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in automotive parts, warehouse operations, inventory control, or a related logistics role preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately match packing slips, purchase orders, and invoices.
• Solid organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Occasionally lift or move items up to 50 pounds.
