Parts Shipper - Weekend Shift (Sat-Mon)

Schedule

6:00am – 6:00pm, Saturday – Monday

Pay

$18.85 base + $3.00 shift premium = $21.85 per hour

Responsibilities

• Packs and prepares products for shipment as specified in the customer order and in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Ensures the complete and accurate shipping of all products.
• Reports accuracy of all shipping transactions in ERP system.
• Supports goals and continued improvement of the distribution center.
• Prepares appropriate documentation for shipments.
• Maintains basic 5S and housekeeping for assigned area.
• Receives instruction, guidance, and direction for production tasks.
• Meets picking and packing expectations.
• Unpacks and examines incoming shipments for non-conformity and escalates to leadership as needed.
• Performs routine assignments.
• Demonstrates responsibility for attendance, quality, and attention to detail.
• Inserts items into containers using spacers, fillers, and protective padding.
• Uses company equipment and materials properly.
• Strives to increase productivity.
• Approaches others in a tactful manner, treating everyone with respect regardless of status or position.
• Accepts responsibility for own actions and follows through on commitments.
• Participates in team meetings and exchanges job-related information.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of experience.
• Detail-oriented and organized.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to talk and hear; use hands to manipulate objects or controls.
• Regularly required to stand and walk.
• Occasionally required to stoop, bend, or reach above the shoulders.
• Must occasionally lift up to 25–50 pounds.
• Frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
• Occasional travel may be required.
