Pape’ Material Handling, a premier capital equipment dealer in the West, is looking for a motivated and customer-oriented Parts Sales Counterperson I to join our team. Responsibilities
- Serve as the go-to parts expert for customers, assisting with maintenance and repair needs both in-person at the counter and over the phone.
- Actively engage with customers to identify their needs and provide recommendations using product literature, specialized software systems, and parts knowledge.
- Translate technical details into actionable parts support to build trust and lasting relationships with clients.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring timely and accurate solutions for parts and equipment inquiries.
Requirements
- Verifiable parts counter experience or applicable mechanical/service experience.
- Basic knowledge of parts inventory.
- Self-motivation and assertive drive.
- Ability to perform at a high level in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills for selling parts and services in person and over the phone.
- Above-average organizational skills.
Pay
$19.26–26.96/hour (depending on experience).
