For additional information about our company, visit our website at www.fisherind.com POSITION SCOPE The Parts Runner (Non-CDL) will be responsible for the safe transportation of items to and from the specified destinations. They will also be responsible for maintaining the inventory of parts. This position will include day or night shift work, extensive traveling, overtime, and weekend work. Primary Duties Conducts inventory control activities as directed by SupervisorsRetrieves (pulls) parts/tools from inventory or if the requested parts are not in inventory notifies supervisorsAssist warehouse personnel as neededTravel to various vendors and job sites to pick up and deliver parts and equipment Works under Parts Runner Dispatch Supervisor to ensure delivery assignments are completed promptly and correctlyComplete all documents, forms and reports in accordance with company policyFueling and washing all equipment in and out of shop including support vehiclesMaintains a professional appearance for self in accordance with company policyConduct thorough pre-trip and post trip inspections of truck and trailer in accordance with Fisher's Company Vehicle Program policy.Document inspection findings accurately and complete all required reports and formsTravel extensively, often on short notice, to various locations including remote areas.Operate equipment as needed (Forklift, telehandler, skid steer, excavator) to load/unload equipment and parts.Perform other duties as assignedOvernight travel will be required Requirements High School Diploma or equivalentValid driver's license3 years of previous related experience (preferred)Must have strong organizational skills to handle the variety of tasks assigned and to be able to prioritizeMust develop positive working relationships with vendorsMust have some basic knowledge of heavy equipment/mechanics to know parts and speak intelligently with vendorsPosition functions in the shop as well as the field in all types of weather conditionsAcceptable MVR in accordance with Fisher's Company Vehicle Program policyOvertime may be necessary during peak timesMust be able to work flexible schedule at times Fisher Industries is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
