Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Audit, tote induction, stage products, and load/unload trucks safely
• Comply with safety and DOT regulations, receive continuous training, and provide excellent customer service
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and agency standards
• Eliminate or minimize safety hazards and maintain accurate records and logs
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines outlined in the contract
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Valid driver's license
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test, Background Check, and Motor Vehicle Check
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Yard Driver Examination
• Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice requirements (if applicable)
• Flexibility to operate and self-drive in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, and excellent time management
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Stand for long periods of time
• Work on various shifts
• Work using health and safety methods
• Create and maintain professional relationships within the organization

• Basic level knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice requirements, if applicable to site
