Parts Runner

About the role

The Parts Runner supports field operations by delivering parts, tools, equipment, and materials to jobsites in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring crews have the necessary materials to complete their work.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver parts, materials, tools, and supplies to jobsites and company facilities
• Coordinate with field supervisors, mechanics, and warehouse staff regarding parts needs
• Verify accuracy of parts and materials before delivery
• Maintain delivery logs and documentation as required
• Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of company vehicles
• Follow all safety policies and traffic laws while operating company vehicles
• Support warehouse or yard operations as needed
• Communicate delays, shortages, or issues promptly to supervisors

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials (up to 50 lbs. or more as needed)
• Strong time-management and organizational skills
• Ability to follow directions and work independently
• Basic knowledge of construction materials, tools, or equipment preferred
• Good communication and customer-service skills
• Frequent driving between jobsites
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday
• Compliance with company safety policies and procedures
• Use of PPE as appropriate
• May be subject to drug and alcohol testing per company policy

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in construction, warehouse, logistics, or field support roles
• Familiarity with local vendors and supply houses
