Job Description
Parts Room Clerk/Storeroom Admin - Corsicana, TX
Compensation: $20.00 to $27.00 - paid weekly (Based on Experience)
Available Shifts: Days Monday - Friday
About the Role
Supports plant production to accomplish the stockroom supply goals. Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. Advanced computer skills required.
Responsibilities
- Ensure parts are available for all manufacturing equipment and related equipment.
- Aid maintenance department in acquiring needed services and parts.
- Resolve all internal and external receiving issues.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Perform daily cycle counts and sweep and organize storeroom area weekly.
- Back up other employees as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred.
- Computer literacy with Microsoft skills (outlook, power point, word, etc).
- Ability to communicate in front of large groups and interact with peers and site leaders.
- Proven experience in effectively coaching peers.
- Willingness to coach leaders.
- Previous experience working in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
- Flexibility to work overtime and off shifts as needed.
- Ability to stand for 8-12 hours due to the nature of the work.
- Ability to wear required PPE to enter the plant/complete tasks.
