Parts Picker/Puller - 2nd Shift - Exmark

What Will You Do?

• Ensure integrity of Inventory Control System.
• Fill carts brought to warehouse inventory location and prepare for delivery.
• Communicate with Cycle Counting organization regarding inventory location changes and emergent inventory replacement needs.
• Identify missing or low inventory levels and work with forklift operators to maintain appropriate inventory levels in Kanban pick bins.
• Remove packaging from parts in preparation for line delivery.
• Maintain a clean inventory warehouse.
• Identify damaged or potential for damage to storage racks to the Safety Administrator.
• Take station part carts to the proper warehouse location to be filled by parts.
• Stock parts in the warehouse and supply Assembly/Welding with emergent parts on an as needed basis.
• Provide liaison communication roll between the assembly line requirements and the inventory warehouse supply.
• Identify and apply Lean methodologies to ensure processes are scientifically controlled and continuously improved.
• Willingly perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

What Do You Need?

• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• One to three months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write and complete routine reports.
• Ability to speak effectively before employees of organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• A forklift safety training certificate is required.
• Accuracy, attention to detail, and being good with numbers (especially recognizing transposition errors) are required skills.
