Parts Ordering Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an individual for a leadership position on our Parts Ordering Team. This team consistently submits automotive parts orders throughout the day, researches and matches invoices on our manufacturers' websites, and codes invoices to ensure accurate payment timelines. The ideal candidate will be a positive representative for our business, with excellent leadership and administrative abilities.

This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, organized, able to multi-task, and can work both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all daily functions within the Ordering Team, including coverage for and timely input of all manufacturer orders each day.
• Learn, understand, and oversee all aspects of the CDK parts ordering process and how each manufacturer download process relates.
• Learn, understand, and oversee the exception reporting processes with receiving for each manufacturer.
• Learn, understand, and oversee the invoice roll process for special order parts.
• Learn, understand, and oversee the integrity of open orders, ensuring older and aged orders are audited and verified for each manufacturer.
• Learn, understand, and oversee the various manufacturers' automated stock replenishment processes and any supplemental stock ordering processes.
• Learn, understand, and oversee the GM and Ford truckload programs to maximize manufacturer discounts.
• Download and order parts multiple times throughout the day for various manufacturers.
• Audit exception reports from the previous day’s orders and billing routines.
• Assist the Parts Ordering Team with manufacturer ordering questions.
• Consistently execute old order clean-up routines.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Pay

Starting hourly pay rate range: $21.00 – $23.00+, evaluated based on relevant skills, training, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
