About the role

As Parts Manager, you will help build and support a centralized parts department that handles purchase orders for our fleet team. You’ll play a key role in developing a centralized parts purchasing program, ensuring orders are processed efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Establish vendor relationships to provide fast delivery, high quality, and low-cost parts
  • Ensure the team sources parts from preferred vendors and uses aftermarket parts when appropriate
  • Work with the estimates team to ensure we practice “repair vs replace” when applicable
  • Audit invoices to confirm all billed parts have been used
  • Manage a team of 3 to 5 direct reports and perform other job-related duties as directed by the Senior Manager of Maintenance and Reconditioning

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of parts department experience, with fleet maintenance experience preferred
  • Experience with online parts purchasing platforms and excellent organizational skills to multitask and work under pressure
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence others and make independent decisions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications, can travel up to 20% (including air travel), and work a flexible schedule, including day/evening shifts
  • At least 21 years old, authorized to work in the United States, and able to work 40 hours per week

Pay

$60,000 base salary
