Parts Manager

Responsibilities

• Receive and control inventory
• Issue parts
• Maintain purchase order tracker system
• Send out shipments
• Process warranty parts forms
• Maintain vendor relations
• Place orders
• Perform data entry of repair orders
• Resolve purchase order and invoice discrepancies
• Assist with completing end-of-month reports
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to read and write English
• Bus parts experience preferred
• Experience with purchasing and inventory control (not sales only)
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Data entry experience
• Ability to effectively evaluate vendors
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Computer literate with experience in Excel
• Self-motivated, able to work alone and perform without constant supervision
• Able to prioritize, implement, and manage work schedules, projects, and assignments
• Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Outlook
• Able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff in written and oral formats
• Display initiative, professionalism, candor, and tact at all times
• Complete all related documents legibly and in a timely manner
• Willing to take training courses as needed
• Able to work a varied schedule
• Ability to work well with others
