About the role

The Parts Counterperson plays a critical role in ensuring our service team has the parts and resources they need to deliver exceptional automotive repairs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist technicians by accurately identifying and sourcing parts for service and repairs.
  • Maintain and organize inventory in the parts department to ensure availability and efficiency.
  • Process incoming shipments, verify accuracy, and stock parts in designated locations.
  • Collaborate with the service team to prioritize urgent part requests and minimize downtime.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate reordering to prevent shortages.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal team members and external vendors.
  • Maintain accurate records of parts transactions, receipts, and adjustments.
  • Ensure compliance with dealership policies and safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in automotive dealership parts department.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
  • Proficiency in using parts lookup software and dealership management systems.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Experience in a high-volume service department.

Requirements

  • All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license.

Pay

Draw plus commission pay plan with expected income of $50,000.00 to $65,000.00.

Schedule

Full Time. Monday through Sunday availability.
