About the role
The Lia Toyota Northampton is seeking an experienced Parts Counterperson to join their team. The position offers a compensation range of $47K-$55K+ based on experience and skill level, with a sign-on bonus of N/A.
Requirements
- Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have experience with auto parts sales (preferred)
- Basic computer skills required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Professional personal appearance and positive attitude
- Customer service mentality
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have a clean and valid driver's license
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish
- Work with parts manager to locate any parts not in stock
- Complete special order part requests for the customer
- Communicate with customers on parts status
- Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations applicable to industry
