Parts Counterperson

About the role

The Tom Bush Family of Dealerships is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Mazda Parts Counterperson to join their award-winning team. They offer a team environment, great benefits, and ongoing training and support.

Responsibilities

• Assist retail and wholesale customers at the parts counter by addressing inquiries and processing part purchases.
• Utilize electronic catalogs and dealer management systems (DMS) to accurately identify and locate parts.
• Process parts sales, returns, and special orders promptly and efficiently.
• Cook up with service technicians to ensure the correct parts are available for all scheduled repairs.
• Maintain a well-organized, clean, and fully stocked parts counter environment.
• Track back-ordered parts and communicate updates on status to customers and service advisors in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Demonstrate exceptional customer service abilities along with strong organizational skills.
• Availability to work rotating Saturdays is required.
• A friendly and outgoing personality with a talent for building and maintaining relationships; essentially, a "people person."
• Capability to operate a vehicle with a valid driver's license.
• As we maintain a drug-free workplace, all candidates must successfully pass a drug screening.
• No prior experience is necessary; however, candidates must be eager to learn and teachable.
• Professional appearance and a strong work ethic are essential.
• Proficiency with computers and familiarity with basic office software.
• Knowledge of automotive parts and terminology is a plus.
