Toyota of Naperville is seeking an Automotive Parts Counterperson to manage and coordinate the sales of automotive parts and accessories to retail and wholesale customers, ensuring high customer satisfaction and timely order fulfillment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist all customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide excellent customer service by accurately and efficiently fulfilling parts orders
- Communicate with service technicians to determine parts needed for vehicle repairs
- Check availability and prices of parts in inventory and through various suppliers
- Utilize electronic catalogs and resources to look up and locate parts
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure parts are stocked and organized
- Process payments and returns for parts purchases
- Follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction with their parts purchases
- Collaborate with sales and service departments to identify and promote parts and accessory sales opportunities
- Stay updated on new products, promotions, and policies in the automotive industry
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience working in an automotive parts department
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proficient in using electronic parts catalogs and inventory systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Knowledge of Reynolds & Reynolds is a plus
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally move more than 100 pounds
- Must have a valid driver's license
Schedule
- Monday-Wednesday & Friday: 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM
- Thursday: Off
- Saturday: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
- Sunday: Off
Pay
$40,000 - $56,000 per year
