Parts Counter Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Assist customers, take parts orders, research technical data, and perform data entry.
• Monitor and close open sales orders and purchase orders.
• Greet all customers and answer phones politely and promptly.
• Utilize formatted phone scripts when answering calls.
• Process customer and shop orders, back orders, credits, and quotes.
• Look up parts via supplied computer programs for CAT and other brands.
• Handle cash and credit payments and returns according to procedures.
• Resolve customer issues or concerns as necessary.
• Absorb after-hours responsibilities when on call.
• Absorb administrative duties as assigned.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Advanced PC skills with the ability to learn and teach others.
• Flexibility to work extended hours and overtime as needed.
• Strong verbal and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Basic math skills.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced distribution center environment.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.

Pay

Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour based upon experience.

Schedule

First Shift Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturday morning hours.
