Parts Counter Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Assist customers, take parts orders, research technical data, and handle data entry.
• Process customer and shop orders, backorders, credits, and quotes.
• Look up parts via computer programs for CAT and other brands.
• Handle cash and credit payments and returns according to procedures.
• Resolve customer issues or concerns as necessary.
• Absorb and maintain merchandise displays.
• Perform warehouse duties as assigned.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Energy and stamina to work extended hours and weekends.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Able and willing to learn to operate material handling equipment.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced distribution center environment.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Prior industry experience preferred.
• Past experience in automotive industry a plus.
• Basic mechanical ability a plus.

Pay

Minimum starting wage of $22.08 - $30.13 per hour based on location and experience.

Schedule

First Shift Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturday morning hours. On-call for after-hours assistance.
