About the role

As a vital member of our Parts Department, you'll assist customers and technicians in finding the right parts quickly and accurately, manage inventory activities, and help ensure equipment stays up and running in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers and technicians with parts identification and ordering.
  • Process parts orders, invoices, and purchase orders.
  • Receive, stock, and organize inventory.
  • Research parts using manufacturer resources and catalogs.
  • Coordinate with service personnel regarding parts availability and delivery timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records and inventory counts.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience every day.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 6-12 months of customer service, sales, parts, or related experience.
  • Certificate from a technical school, vocational program, or related field preferred.
  • Customer-focused attitude with strong communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer and data-entry skills.
  • Willingness to assist with warehouse and inventory responsibilities as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in construction equipment, heavy equipment, trucking, agricultural equipment, automotive, or industrial parts.
  • Knowledge of equipment manufacturers such as JCB, LeeBoy, Dynapac, Rosco, etc.
  • Experience with dealer management systems and electronic parts catalogs.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Combination of office, warehouse, and customer-facing work environments.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and movement throughout the parts department.
  • Regular use of computers, phones, and office equipment.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Occasional loading and unloading of parts and freight shipments.
