About the role

The Parts Counter Sales Representative assists customers and service technicians by identifying, sourcing, and selling parts for John Deere construction, forestry, and industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and technicians in identifying and purchasing correct replacement parts.
• Research parts using manufacturer catalogs, inventory systems, and other resources.
• Prepare quotes, process sales transactions, and manage customer orders.
• Receive and follow up on parts inquiries by phone, email, and in person.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stocking and inventory counts.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Parts sales, customer service, warehouse, or equipment industry experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn parts inventory systems.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lift, bend, and work in a parts department environment.
