Depot Connect International (DCI) is a global leader in the Tank/ISO Tank Container Services and Tank Trailer Parts industry, combining the expertise of Quala, Boasso Global, and PSC. With over 160 locations worldwide and a team of over 3,500 employees, we offer mission-critical services. We are seeking a Parts Counter Salesperson to join our team, responsible for assisting customers in finding the right parts, providing excellent customer service, and generating sales.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in identifying their parts needs
• Recommend and sell parts and accessories to meet customers' requirements
• Provide accurate product information and technical advice
• Process customer orders and handle transactions at the counter
• Maintain inventory and ensure availability of parts
• Assist in receiving, stocking, and organizing parts in the warehouse
• Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to meet customer needs
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
• Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends
• Deliver and pick up parts in/out of town
• Meet sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the sales team
• Promptly and accurately complete all paperwork and handle tax certificates

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in sales, preferably in a semi truck parts or an industrial industry
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and equipment
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Must have a valid Driver's License
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Attention to detail and accuracy

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy items for extended periods
• Bend, stoop, and reach when handling parts and equipment
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment

Pay

Hourly rate range - $20-$26 depending on experience
