Parts Counter Representative

About the role

Volkswagen South Coast, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, seeks an experienced Parts Counter Representative to support both retail and wholesale customers, as well as service technicians, by ensuring timely and accurate delivery of parts.

Responsibilities

• Support both customers and service technicians by ensuring required parts are available when needed.
• Ensure every interaction reflects world-class service.
• Maintain an unparalleled level of detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Focus on customer and technician satisfaction while ensuring profitability.
• Provide knowledgeable assistance regarding parts questions in a professional manner that reflects understanding, clarity, accuracy, and courtesy.
• Strive to grow the dealership and your career by setting monthly and annual goals for the Parts Department with the Parts Manager and reporting on your progress.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have genuine interest in providing an exceptional customer experience, a friendly and enthusiastic demeanor, strong communication and organizational skills, and a reliable work ethic.

Qualifications

Experience in a fast-paced retail or service environment is preferred, but not required. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential.

Skills

Knowledgeable about parts and the automotive industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are key.
