Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers at the parts counter, providing friendly and knowledgeable service while keeping customers informed about special orders, back-ordered parts, and handling returns.
• Accurately process parts orders, ensuring correct parts are selected and available for customers while adhering to delivery timelines.
• Locate and secure parts from various vendors for shop jobs, demonstrating a proactive approach to fulfilling customer orders.
• Provide technical assistance to customers, including assisting service technicians with acquiring parts.
• Utilize strong product knowledge to guide customers in selecting the right parts for their needs.
• Collaborate closely with team members and leadership to continuously cultivate positive experiences for customers.
• Perform other dynamic duties and responsibilities as assigned to support business operations.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service experience.
• 3 years of automotive or truck parts-related experience.
• Ability to identify common commodity parts.
• Ability to perform accurate cycle-counts.
• Ability to order and check-in parts orders.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Curious mindset with an entrepreneurial "pioneering spirit," strong integrity, and a passion for continuous professional development.

Physical and Mental Demands

The employee is frequently required to bend, squat, kneel, crawl/lay on back, reach away from body or shoulder height, climb or balance, lift up to 75 pounds, push or pull, and work in areas with fumes, airborne particles, or vibration.

Schedule

Second shift: Monday–Friday, 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
