Parts Coordinator - Parts Puller

About the role

Ensure parts needed for repair are pulled and ready for delivery to service contractors. This is a non-exempt, 1st shift position (Monday - Friday, weekends off).

Responsibilities

• Review each service order for correct parts.
• Gather parts needed for service work order.
• Track and return defective items to vendors for a refund.
• File completed work orders and returned vendor paperwork.
• Lift and move heavy items—up to 70 lbs frequently, occasionally more than 100 lbs.
• Handle FedEx shipping.
• Load parts into homes ready to ship.
• Aid Service Department with other tasks, as needed.

Requirements

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must pass a MVR background check.
• Must have a valid non-CDL driver’s license.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
• Frequently required to walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
• Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

• Work at a rapid pace within the production line.
• Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
• May be exposed to high, precarious places and fumes or airborne particles.
• Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock.
