Parts Coordinator / Buyer

Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading Fleet Maintenance Companies in the U.S., is seeking an experienced Light/Medium Duty Parts Coordinator to support inside parts ordering activity under the Purchasing Manager.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain productive, long-lasting relationships with internal teammates and clients
• Work with internal customers in a professional, courteous manner
• Become familiar with client’s vehicle assignments
• Locate parts that are difficult to find and negotiate with vendors to ensure the best deal
• Accurately quote parts and input information into the management system
• Track lost sales
• Assist other parts coordinators as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a highly competitive market; prior success selling wholesale auto parts, particularly in the aftermarket industry, preferred
• Knowledge of light/medium duty parts and vehicles
• Exceptional phone skills: positive, enthusiastic, and attentive tone; clear enunciation; exceptional listening skills
• Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Passionate about exceptional customer service
• Ability to build and maintain lasting business relationships
• ASE certifications in P1 and P2 preferred
• Results-focused, proactive, and committed to growth
• Experience with POS systems a plus
• Proficient in MS Office applications, specifically MS Word and Excel
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to act and operate independently to accomplish objectives
• Outgoing, assertive personality with a “can-do attitude”

Schedule

• Full-time: Tuesday–Saturday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM EST or Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST
