Parts Advisor/Counter

As a Parts Advisor/Counter, you will be responsible for assisting customers in finding the right automotive parts for their needs. This role requires a strong knowledge of automotive parts and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the counter with parts inquiries and orders in a friendly and professional manner
• Identify and source automotive parts and accessories accurately using parts catalogs and computer systems
• Manage parts inventory, including receiving, stocking, and organizing parts efficiently
• Collaborate with service technicians and sales staff to fulfill parts requirements promptly
• Process sales transactions, maintain records, and prepare parts orders for pickup or delivery
• Maintain a clean and organized parts counter and storage area

Requirements

• Previous experience in automotive parts sales or related field preferred
• Knowledge of automotive parts terminology and systems
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficient with computer systems and inventory management software
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
