Parts Advisor
About the role
Our Parts Advisors play an important role in service operations, offering fundamental support to both Technicians and customers in our mission to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy. As a Parts Advisor you will provide critical parts support to the service center, liaise with other departments, and focus on the continuous development of your skills. You must be energetic, highly organized, hard‑working, passionate about the brand, and able to thrive in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Source parts from Distribution Centers and other Service Center locations and allocate them to vehicle service appointments.
- Monitor inventory within the parts system, communicate parts updates and availability with relevant team members.
- Review upcoming appointments and ensure they are properly prepared and documented in our system.
- Prepare internal orders for shipment to other service center locations.
- Process and return warranty part shipments for quality assurance, including handling hazardous materials and high‑voltage batteries.
- Systematically receive, inspect, and put away stock and special‑order parts.
- Escalate parts issues from internal or external suppliers in collaboration with the Regional Parts Manager, acting as a point of contact to vendors and providing constructive feedback for future improvements.
- Pick up and transport parts using a van or forklift, engaging third parties when necessary.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills and ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with both internal stakeholders and customers.
- Flexibility to support critical projects and deadlines, including occasional weekend or evening hours.
- Effective handling of multiple priorities, organized workload management, and meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in English (read, write, speak) at all levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain appropriate state licensing, where applicable.
- Physical ability to perform repetitious duties, including regularly lifting up to 25 lb., sitting, bending and standing for long periods.
- Specific vision abilities to identify parts, operate systems, and identify potential safety hazards in the parts department.

Pay
Parts Advisor I – $18.36 – $27.54 /hour
Parts Advisor II – $20.88 – $31.32 /hour
Parts Advisor III – $24.48 – $36.72 /hour plus cash and stock awards and benefits. Pay may vary based on location, knowledge, skills, and experience. Total compensation may include additional elements.
