About the role
Lithia Ford of Missoula is now hiring a Parts Advisor. This position offers a commission pay plan and operates Tuesday through Saturday.
What You'll Do
- Answer telephone and greet customers and vendors
- Maintain a clean counter, work area, and stockroom
- Work with the Service Team to coordinate parts for vehicle repair and service
- Order parts from suppliers based on Service Department and customer request
- Receive, unpack, and store parts in appropriate storage areas so they are available when needed
- Take inventory, maintain records of goods received and keep perpetual inventory controls
- Receive payment or obtain credit authorization
- Process core returns, parts warranties and parts returns
What You'll Bring
- 1+ year of experience in the automotive field
- Understand basic automotive components and systems
- Adequate driving record and a valid driver's license
