About the role

Unrivaled is a premier professional women’s 3v3 basketball league that aims to elevate the profile of women’s basketball through exceptional talent, groundbreaking partnerships, and unparalleled fan experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop customized partnership proposals, pitch decks, presentations, and sales materials for prospective and existing brand partners.

  • Gather and synthesize cross-functional insights to support partnership development.

  • Conduct industry, category, brand, and competitive research to identify partnership opportunities, trends, and relevant business insights.

  • Support the development of post-season and mid-season recap materials highlighting partnership performance, ROI, and key learnings.

  • Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with brand partners, serving as the main point of contact.

  • Regularly communicate with brand partners to understand their needs/objectives and resolve any issues.

  • Ensure a high level of satisfaction and positive outcomes for both partners and the league.

  • Oversee the execution of brand partnership agreements, ensuring deliverables are met as per the terms.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate brand initiatives seamlessly into league operations and marketing strategies.

  • Manage and execute partnership experiences at league events, games, and other key touchpoints.

  • Ensure that brand activations and experiences are engaging, impactful, and reflective of Unrivaled’s standards.

  • Work directly with the CRO & VP, Sponsorships & Account Management to provide assistance in partnership discussions and execution.

  • Provide strategic input and feedback to enhance brand partnership effectiveness and innovation.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in sales, brand development, account management, or a related role, preferably within sports or entertainment.

  • Demonstrated success in managing brand partnerships and executing marketing initiatives.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and create professional KPI reports.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint is essential.

  • Ability to work in other creative tools preferred.

  • Passion for women’s basketball and an understanding of the sports industry.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, Brand Marketing or a related field.
