Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward corporate donors, sponsors, and strategic partners.
  • Create customized sponsorship and partnership opportunities aligned with corporate social responsibility and employee engagement goals.
  • Manage existing corporate relationships to ensure strong stewardship, ongoing engagement, and long-term partnership growth.
  • Secure support through sponsorships, corporate giving, employee engagement campaigns, volunteerism, and in-kind donations with a goal of securing multi-year commitments.
  • Work closely with the Chief Development & Communications Officer, develop corporate engagement strategy, and lead day-to-day engagement with prospective and current corporate and community leaders.
  • Regularly attend networking and local special events, and community meetings to promote CFH and our programs with goal of building lasting relationships and securing financial support.
  • Develop volunteer opportunities and employee engagement activities for corporate partners.
  • Work collaboratively with program staff to create meaningful service opportunities including meal service, kit assembly projects, educational workshops, game nights, wellness and education activities, donation drives, and special events.
  • Carefully coordinate logistics, communication, and stewardship related to volunteer and engagement activities.
  • Support corporate fundraising efforts tied to annual campaigns, special events, and community initiatives.
  • Represent the organization at networking events, meetings, community functions, and partnership opportunities.
  • Develop sponsorship opportunities and partnership initiatives to drive support for CFH programs.
  • Assist in developing partnership proposals, sponsorship materials, impact reports, presentations, and donor communications.
  • Ensure timely recognition and stewardship of corporate supporters and sponsors.
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach, sponsorships, donor engagement, and partnerships within donor database systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree. Equivalent experience will be considered based on relevant experience.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in partnerships development, nonprofit fundraising, business development, sponsorships, corporate relationships or related field.
  • Successful track record of securing support through annual and multi-year commitments.
  • Strong relationship building, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience working with corporate sponsors, employee engagement programs, or volunteer initiatives preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Passion for community impact and commitment to serving vulnerable populations with dignity and compassion.
  • Experience in building strong relationships with stakeholders including donors, partners and community leaders.
  • The ability to think “out of the box” in building specialized and engaging partnership opportunities and events to secure long-term commitment to CFH programs.
  • Strong interpersonal and networking abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail oriented with strong follow through skills.
  • Occasional nights and weekends as needed.
  • Hybrid position: 3 days in office/2 days remote.
  • Position is expected to engage in community and corporate events/settings and lead meetings and presentations with current and prospective partners.
