About the role

Amazon Ads is seeking a seasoned solution architect to join its global solutions architecture team. This role advises ISVs, digital advertising agencies, and large customers on developing and scaling advanced cloud-based solutions for digital advertising and marketing transformations.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with tech leaders across ad agencies, SaaS providers, and large customers to promote awareness of Amazon Ads ad tech.
  • Partner with Global leaders to achieve revenue objectives through the adoption of ad products, applications, software, and services.
  • Support the education and training of partners on the positioning of Amazon Ads and contribute to industry thought leadership.
  • Hands-on solution architect with strong REST API and SDK development skills to build and scale solutions with partners.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders internally to ensure customer feedback is incorporated and improve self-service capabilities of advertising products.
  • Build strong relationships with internal product teams to ensure alignment of the product roadmap, vision, and strategy.

Requirements

  • Microservices & SOA — designing and building distributed systems
  • Application Integration — API management, event-driven architectures
  • Cloud Technologies — AWS, Azure, or similar platforms
  • Emerging Tech — Gen AI, MCP, and agentic solutions

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
  • 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
  • 3+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
  • Experience in written and verbal communication skills to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership
  • 3+ years of customer-facing work, engaging with customer executives, technologists or partners to solve business problems with advanced technologies experience
  • Experience in online or digital advertising
  • 1+ years of analytical and quantitative skills experience demonstrating the ability to use data and metrics to back-up assumptions, make recommendations, and drive actions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in technology/software sales, pre-sales, or consulting
  • Experience working with end user or developer communities
  • Experience working directly in customer implementations
  • Experience in communicating with and presenting to executive and senior audiences
  • 2+ years of leadership experience with business reviews and adapting to work to business review outcomes
