About the role
The Go-to-Market Talent Partner will assess, build, and manage a network of sales, marketing, BD and customer success leaders for the benefit of our key stakeholders, including portfolio companies.
Responsibilities
- Build out the GTM Talent Network by engaging, assessing, and career coaching talent;
- Become the “go-to” person for advice and counsel to our high potential network;
- Counsel on hiring processes to help build world-class management teams;
- Accelerate time to hire and improve quality of hire through best practices and leveraging our network;
- Partner and grow our relationships with the best search firms;
- Continue to expand the a16z network and connect the firm with industry leaders and as a result, identify potential investment opportunities for the firm.
Requirements
- 6+ years experience in full-cycle recruiting for go-to-market teams;
- Strong network of relationships in the enterprise technology sector;
- Experience in assessment, recruitment, and building executive teams, as well as exposure to compensation trends and benchmarking;
- Ability to influence and partner with Founders, CEOs, and other executives;
- Experience in developing and cultivating relationships with VP and director level talent, search firms and staffing organizations;
- Proven track record of managing a fast paced workload, balancing multiple tasks and priorities, and switching gears seamlessly;
- Excellent verbal and written communication;
- Low ego, high empathy, and the capacity to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Pay
The anticipated salary range for this role is between $239,000 - $278,000, actual starting pay may vary based on a range of factors which can include experience, skills, and scope.
Schedule
The role may require in-office presence as needed for team meetings and portfolio company meetings (approximately bi-weekly).
