Part-TimeTemporary Admissions Assistant
Quinnipiac University is seeking an enthusiastic, relationship-driven Part-Time Temporary Regional Admissions Recruiter to serve as the University's representative throughout Northern New Jersey during the undergraduate recruitment cycle. This is a 19-hour-per-week, 10-month remote position.

Responsibilities
- Represent Quinnipiac University at recruitment events throughout Northern New Jersey, including high school visits, college fairs, and presentations.
- Conduct prospective student interviews.
- Read and evaluate undergraduate applications in accordance with university admissions policies.
- Contribute to enrollment decisions through holistic application review.
- Cultivate relationships with high school counselors, prospective students, families, and community partners.
- Travel periodically to Quinnipiac’s Hamden, Connecticut campus for training, team meetings, and admissions events (e.g., Open Houses, Accepted Student programs).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- One (1) or more years of experience in admissions, recruitment, higher education, sales, marketing, customer relations, or a closely related field.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently in a remote territory.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel extensively throughout Northern New Jersey, including occasional evenings and weekends.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from varied backgrounds.
Schedule
19 hours per week, 10-month position with occasional evening and weekend commitments.
