Part Time Youth Mentor
About the Role
We are seeking ministry-minded individuals to join our After School team as Part Time Youth Mentors. In this role, you will foster youth development in an after-school setting by leading elementary students in enrichment activities. This is a chance to have an eternal impact and be a role model to kids in your community.

Our mission is to mobilize godly people into the lives of kids and families, providing tangible help and eternal hope. Every staff position, including this one, is integral to our mission and vision.
This is a non-exempt, part-time position averaging 17-20 hours per week during the school calendar year.
Responsibilities
- Lead elementary students in enrichment activities in an after-school setting.
- Serve as a positive role model and mentor to kids in the community.
- Align with and exhibit behaviors in accordance with the Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith.
Requirements
- Must be at least 17 years of age (High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred; some post-secondary training highly preferred).
- Passion and love for working with elementary school-aged children.
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children is preferred.
- Able to work Monday - Friday, 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year.
- Ability to earn CPR/First Aid certification (mandatory).
- Pass a mandatory background and sex offender check.
- Valid driver’s license or valid ID.
- Legally allowed to work in the United States.
- Dependable transportation.
Skills
- Spanish-speaking ability is greatly valued.
